COUNSELLING SERVICES

Counselling sessions are available face to face or via phone and are available to employees in their local language. This service is goal oriented and available for a range of both personal and work-related issues.

Employees seeking practical advice across a variety of subjects (examples include financial planning, child / elder care and legal support) can contact Tlk2 for support. Research will be undertaken to answer specific questions. Employees may also be referred to local providers for further assistance.

Our approach is underpinned by the belief that wellbeing:

Guidance specifically intended to support line managers with challenging situations such as resolving conflict and delivering bad news. Managers can contact Tlk2 by telephone and identify themselves as a line manager seeking support. They will consult briefly with a counsellor, with one of the following outcomes:

  • Advice given by counsellor and no further action required (Where there is an issue specific to an employee in their team) A recommendation to the employee of an informal or formal referral to Tlk2

  • Referral of the line manager to a counsellor focused on leadership development to provide ongoing coaching

Primarily we believe that we are each accountable for our own wellbeing – we make our own choices. However, embedding a focus on wellbeing into the fabric of our culture requires individuals, managers and leaders to play a key role.
